LIRA-FEM (LIRA-SAPR) has a wide range of functionality for solving a great number of problems, as well as modeling and analysis of tower and mast. The analysis is produced in the plane (2nd Model type) as well as in the space (4th, 5th Model types).
Static and dynamic analysis
In the LIRA-FEM program the static and dynamic analysis of the tower and mast in linear and nonlinear formulations is realized.
For the linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 1, 2, 4, 10.
For the physically non-linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 201, 202, 204, 210.
For the genetically non-linear analysis of the tower and mast, the next types of bar finite elements (FE) are used: 308, 309, 310.
To perform the physical and geometrical (P-delta) nonlinear analysis of the tower and mast, the bar finite element FE 410 is used.
While adding the bars in the LIRA-FEM software, the FE 10 type is assigned to them by default. The process of finite element change is described in the article.
