VISOR module is the unified graphical user interface (GUI) that includes professional tools for generating design models for different structures and evaluating analysis results.

The user goes through all stages of analysis beginning from generation of design model up to evaluation of analysis results in the same working environment. It is possible to select any mode of analysis, obtain information from any stage and review windows from several modes simultaneously (for example, evaluate analysis results and review input data at the same time).
Interface provides standard software routines similar to those in OS Windows and the user familiar with this environment could easily learn the program.
For the most part, the project is presented graphically (visualization of the whole objects and their parts, presentation of results as deformed shapes, diagrams, contour plots, animation, etc.).

Main features and options

visualization of design models at all stages of model generation and evaluation;

tutorial with a set of examples that make the user familiar with main features of LIRA-FEM software;
extensive Help system where you can find detailed information about options and tools of the module;
different techniques for generation of design model (numerous templates of basic objects, copy and merge options, import data from other programs, polyfilters for selecting objects, fragmentation, dynamic change of measurement units, etc.);
different method for evaluation of analysis results (contour lines, contour plots of stress, displacements, forces, animation of vibrations, deformed shapes, numerical and colour presentation of elements and their attributes, flexible scale of presentation);
control on the solver parameters;
comprehensive documentary system.

Parameters that may be modified

toolbars (their structure, location on the screen, hide/show options);
colour model (background colour for working window, colours for composite elements and objects of design model, colour palette for contour plots of analysis results);
different font styles and sizes;
paths to base directories on the disk where input data files and files of analysis results are stored;
measurement units;
languages for interface and documentation;
parameters of 3D graphics (software or hardware acceleration, visual effects).

Several options for work

VISOR enables you to use different methods for work with the program. E.g. the same command may be performed through menu commands, button on the toolbar, shortcut menu or shortcut keys.

Support for Undo/Redo commands

VISOR module provides Undo/Redo options. These commands are available at all stages of analysis and have no limitations on number of steps.

Survivability of the project

It is also possible to autosave the project and restore the model from LIRA internal files. It provides undamaged state of the project and you could restore them after unexpected failure of operation system or hardware.

Documentation systems with options

to present standard text tables of input data and analysis results for both the whole structure and for its separate selected elements;
to generate new tables forms;
to present graphic data in different vector and raster formats for printing options (printers, plotters), for pasting into documents created in specialized documentation programs (e.g. MS Word), for transmitting and placing them in the Internet;
to present tabular information in the form of spreadsheets that may be edited and saved further.

VISOR module supports English and Russian languages and various systems of measurement units (for both model generation and evaluation of analysis results).
